Not only do we strive to make a difference
in the world, one child at a time, but more importantly,
we hope that we are having a positive impact on the life
of each child who passes through our doors. But we know that
the circle of influence is wider than our contribution.
School/Business Partnership Program
The Blue Valley School District currently has more than 40 local business partners paired with individual schools to expand and enrich the learning opportunities for Blue Valley students. The partnership enhances the school's curriculum by utilizing the expertise and talents of business people to meet the needs of students at all levels. It also creates a climate of involvement and interaction between business and education and involves the community in preparing for its own economic future.

The district recognized the following people and organizations this year: Julie Miller, a parent and committed volunteer in the district; Darren Dupriest, president of Validity Screening Solutions, which provides comprehensive pre-employment background searches that aid the district in making safe hiring decisions; Keith McEnaney, president of Blue Valley Rotary, an organization that has committed many hours to helping the district in a variety of ways, and Jim Hix, a community leader who supports education and the district.
