The Blue Valley School District activities and athletics
programs will provide developmentally appropriate opportunities
for students to explore and develop interests and talents
in a wide variety of areas.
Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities in the high
schools are a significant part of the total educational experience
available to students. These activities are an extension
of the classroom and contribute immeasurably to a positive
school climate and individual student growth. Participation
in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities is strongly
encouraged because students learn teamwork, self discipline,
the value of hard work, develop physically and emotionally,
and develop a sense of belonging.
