Preparing students for a bright future

In Blue Valley we want every child to be successful. We believe that the personal preparation students receive in the district sets them up to be successful in whatever steps they take after they leave Blue Valley. We are committed to unprecedented academic success and unparalleled personal growth for each student. For the vast majority of our students, this includes being ready for a college education. It is our hope to provide students with the information they need to be successful in whatever path they take after graduation. For those students who are interested in post-secondary education, we want them to not only be accepted to the college or university of their choice, but to be academically ready to handle the rigor of those courses. One important way Blue Valley is helping students and parents navigate the world of post secondary education is through the College Readiness Web site.

We hope this site not only answers questions, but is an informational resource for students and parents. The site provides a variety of information including dates and times for important upcoming events such as ACT and SAT testing dates and also career and college fairs. The site also includes sections about financial readiness, personal readiness, academic readiness, admissions readiness and more, with links to valuable and informational Web sites. It also includes testimonials from recent Blue Valley graduates about their college preparation experience.

We will continue to do everything we can to empower our students with the skills they need to succeed. In Blue Valley we hope this site helps to set the stage for your child’s future and helps to take their Education Beyond Expectations.
