Information Line
A service of the Advisory Council and Student Services Department
is the Special Education Information Line (InfoLine). When
a parent has a question about services, procedures or resources,
he or she can call (913) 239-4272, at the Blue Valley Service
Center Special Education office. Parents may also contact the Special Education office online.
Calls will be answered between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday
through Friday. The individual who answers the InfoLine will
take the information or request and route it to an appropriate
Blue Valley staff member for a response. Parents can also
access the phone number to make connections with other parents
so they can support each other in navigating through the
educational system, or in finding friendships for their children.
When the phone is not answered, voice mail is available for
leaving messages. Questions and requests for assistance should
be directed to building-level staff and administration when
possible.
