An athletic director for Blue Valley Southwest High School, slated to open in 2010, has been determined. - Approved in the 2005 bond issue
- Estimated capacity: 1,600 students
- Similar in capacity to Blue Valley West, Blue Valley North and Blue Valley Northwest.
- 113 acres
- 300,000 square feet
- This building is slightly smaller than Blue Valley West, but slightly larger than Blue Valley North and Blue Valley Northwest.
- Middle School #10 will be located on the same site and will open in 2011

future sports complex is being planned but is not scheduled for
construction at this time. No additional field lighting will be built
with the future sports complex. The future sports complex will include
a pressbox, spectator seating, restrooms, concessions, and may include
additional parking. This arrangement is similar to Blue Valley West.
