Academics First

1. Academics First begins on Monday, September 24^th. Teachers assist students in CA, Science, Spanish and Math.

· Mondays - 3:00-4:00 p.m., room 308

· Tuesdays - 3:00-4:00 p.m., room 308

· Thursdays** - 7:45-8:45 a.m., 703

*Math is held in the Math Lab.

** Honor students assist supervised by an administrator.

Front Traffic Circle for Special Ed Busses

During Arrival and Dismissal each day, the front traffic circle is for special education busses. Parents should drop off and pick up their students on the south side of the building by the gym. Parents are asked to enter through the northwest entrance off 175^th Street located next to the soccer fields. Please see attached map.

Study for ACT, SAT, PSAT and All AP Tests Online!

Start studying for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and all AP tests online! Visit the library website at http://www.bvswlmc.com , go to the All Databases tab, and then click on TERC. Students can create an account to take practice exams online and utilize free study materials. Use the password over_log from home for full access. Contact Ms. Hogan or Mrs. Bolton for assistance. Youth Leadership Institute

Once again, the Overland Park Rotary Club Foundation and Johnson County Community College are sponsoring a 5-day Youth Leadership Institute July 15-19 at JCCC to help area high school students explore their leadership potential and learn about the value of community service. Any high school student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 may apply, and scholarships are available to offset the $195 tuition. Blue Valley Student Email Accounts Deactivated and Reset

Class of 2013 Email Accounts Deactivated

Monday, August 12th, 2013

Students who graduate in May 2013 will continue to have access to the Blue Valley student email accounts through the summer months. On August 12, 2013, any student who has exited the district will be archived in the district's student management system and the email accounts will be deactivated.

Please take this time to duplicate and retrieve any information you may have stored on the Blue Valley student email system.

Student Email Reset - No Access Until Students Reset Network Login AT SCHOOL

Monday, August 12th, 2013

As we prepare for the 2013-14 school year, student network accounts, folders, and passwords will be reset effective August 12, 2013. This action will prohibit students from accessing their Blue Valley student email accounts until the fall semester begins. Any data stored in the student folders will be removed on August 12^th. Any data or information stored in their individual folders should be retrieved prior to leaving for the summer.

As of April 2013, Blue Valley is projecting the reset date of 8/12/13. Students must login AT SCHOOL in order to regain access to their student email from home. This cannot be accomplished from home. Sorry for the inconvenience .
