OTMS was awarded the Governor's Achievement Award for the 3rd year in a row!  The award originated in 2006 so we have been awarded it every year.  This award honors top performing schools in the state on the 2008 state assessments.  In order to receive this award, OTM' reading and math scores were in the top five percent of all schools in the state of Kansas.

OTMS has also achieved Standard of Excellence in both reading, mathematics and social studies for 2008, made AYP in both reading and mathematics, and were among the top 5% of Kansas middle schools in both reading and mathematics on the state assessments.

 

This is an outstanding achievement for our students, staff, and community.  It could not be accomplished without the hard work of those that touch the lives of our students each and every day.
