Congratulations OTMS for winning a Blue Valley Ed Foundation Grant
Vanessa Loffredo, library media specialist and the 7th grade ELA teachers: Beth Rieke, Tracy Garza and Sylvia Williams received a $4,555.62 grant from the Blue Valley Educational Foundation to purchase fiction and nonfiction books about the Titanic. In addition, replicas from the Titanic voyage will be purchased so students can compare artifacts from first, second and third class passengers. OTMS would like to thank BVEF for their continued support!
We are going to Hold our OTMS Google Doodle Contest.
Who can enter? Any OTMS student. Create your Google Doodle. This year’s theme “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place...” Link to Contest Website. If you want to enter the National Contest, go to this Link and your parents will need to submit your work. The format for Google needs to be in a Jpg or Png format. National Contest deadline is March 20. There will be 50 Kansas State finalists and also a Kansas State winner. We will be displaying all OTMS submission out in the hall after Spring break and you will need to vote for your favorite. OTMS Winner will be announced Tuesday, April. To submit for OTMS place Doodle in a Word file and print to a color printer. Give to Mrs. Rehagen Monday, March 24 or Tuesday, March 25 with your name on the back. Do not place your name on the front of the file. Good Luck
