May 2008: Mass grading continues on the project. McAninch has completed the building pad. The design team is in the process of verifying the grades so Crossland can start their work. The upper level of the building pad was certified so that Crossland Construction could start work on site. McAninch has a large portion of the site to grade and they continue to work on cuts and fills in the sports venues areas. They have most of the roads cut in and the area around the school building itself is to rough grade. They continue to make cuts in the parking areas and move it to the south side of the site.
Crossland moved on site and started mobilizing their onsite facilities. They are getting organized and starting to take deliveries on steel reinforcement for the foundations of the building. They have also moved in a grading crew and are starting to spread the rock base for the building pad. Once the design team works through the verification process they will be working on spreading rock on the full pad area. Currently they are working on the upper level. Work continues to progress well as McAninch is getting closer to completing their portion of the work and Crossland moves in to start theirs.
