The Blue Valley Legislative Coalition, founded in 1991, represents various facets of the Blue Valley Schools community. Its members include parents, business people, district teachers and administrators. The purpose of the coalition is two-fold: the first is to educate the community about education issues in the Legislature and second, to garner community support for those issues. The Blue Valley Legislative Coalition meets periodically during the school year and as needed during the legislative session. They are charged with disseminating information and encouraging patrons to communicate with their legislators on appropriate issues.
