Answers
1)  Q What should I do if I forgot my password or my password no longer works?
A
Call the voice mail office at (913) 239-4688 and ask to have your password reset. Be sure to leave your name, voicemail number and phone number.
2)  Q The system no longer recognizes my voice mail number. It repeats the first six digits of my mailbox back to me and tells me it is not a valid number. What's wrong?
A
Your mailbox has probably been deleted due to inactivity. You may reactivate online by submitting a reactivation application. Once you have submitted your application, be sure to read the submittal confirmation.
3)  Q How often should I check my messages?
A
Because most messages are time-sensitive, you should ideally check your messages on a daily basis. However, in order to ensure you mailbox does not become full and is deleted from the system, you should at least check your messages on a weekly basis.
4)  Q I have children in three different Blue Valley schools. Do I need three mailboxes?
A
No. Each family in Blue Valley is assigned one mailbox. Messages from all pertinent schools are funneled into that one mailbox.
5)  Q My phone number changed. Do I need to have a new voice mailbox assigned to me?
A
No. Once your voicemail is assigned to you, your mailbox number will not change, even if your phone number or address changes.
6)  Q When I went to reactivate my mailbox, the system tells me I have been assigned a temporary password. How do I find out what that temporary password is?
A
You should have received a prompt after you submitted your reactivation application which told you that your temporary password is the same seven-digit number as your mailbox number.
7)  Q I have additional questions. Who can I contact?
A
If you need further assistance, please contact your child's school office or send an e-mail to Kim Bell at the Blue Valley Voicemail Office.
