PE at Stanley Elementary

Hi! My name is Tom Baldwin. I am the Physical Education teacher at Stanley Elementary. This is my 19th year at Stanley and my 24th in the Blue Valley School District. This is my 26th year total with teaching. My first year I taught middle school social studies at Holy Family Catholic School in Independence, MO. and my second year I started my Physical Education career at Brookfield Elementary in Brookfield, MO. I taught for five years at Tomahawk Ridge Elementary in the Blue Valley School District before coming to Stanley. I am certified in grades 7-12 Social Studies and K-12 Health and Physical Education.

I have coached middle school football for the last 24 years and track & field at the high school level for the last 20 years.

I have been married for 23 years to my wife Teresa and have 2 children, T.J. (Thomas Joseph), age 22  and Anne Marie, age 19. They both attend the University of Central Missouri. Teresa is now in her 10th year at K.C. Cardiology as a cardiac sonographer. We have 2 dogs named Nala(age 2) and Jasmine(aka Jazzy) (age 8). Nala is a German Shepherd and Jazzy is a Cairn Terrier.

I have really enjoyed being a part of the Stanley family and appreciate all the support I have received from our staff and parents.
