What can a school counselor offer? A school counselor can:
- Listen and understand when you face a challenge
- Keep things confidential
- Work with students, parents, and teachers
- Visit the classroom for classroom guidance lessons
- Teach the Stilwell virtues
- Work with new students
- Work with students individually and/or in a small group setting
- Help students learn important social skills, conflict resolution skills, and academic success skills
- Help with Stilwell community service
- Help students with goal setting
- Work with teachers to help students have a successful school year
- Help parents with tools for successful parenting

How to see the school counselor:
- Put a note in the mailbox located outside my office
- Send me an email or via my web page contact form
- Leave me a voicemail
- Please be sure to leave your first and last name, your child's name, a good way to contact you, and briefly describe your concern
- You will be contacted within 24 hours
