Melissa Blevins

I am excited to be back in the Blue Valley School District and serve the Blue River community! I started my teaching career in Blue Valley, where I was an elementary teacher for 11 years before I moved to administrative roles in Kansas City, MO and Topeka. I recently served as an elementary principal in the Lawrence School District. I got my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Avila University, a master’s degree in elementary education from Baker University and my administrative degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

I am excited to begin focusing on building authentic connections with staff, students and families and look forward to having an awesome 2023-24 school year.!
