We have a great responsibility in front of us to provide a safe learning and working environment for our students and staff during the 2020-21 school year. While our Back to School plans have been informed by local, state and national health and education officials, our plan prioritizes what is most important for Blue Valley--the health of our students and staff.
UPDATE ON 2020-21 LEARNING MODES
Feb. 16, 2021: Using Kansas State Department of Education’s (“KSDE”) Navigating Change Criteria and the current data from the Kansas State Department of Health and Environment, the district is in the YELLOW. In YELLOW, all students will remain in their current mode of learning—early childhood and elementary students in full-time, in-person learning, while middle and high school students will remain in the hybrid learning mode through March 12. Beginning March 23, all students registered for in-person learning will be in full-time, in-person learning as long as the district remains in the yellow or green level. As always, we will continue to monitor data.
