Who is Ms. Bartley??? 

Hi, I am so happy to be here at OTE.  I am looking forward to my sixth year here at OTE and 12th year in the Blue Valley District.   I have been teaching for 20 years and have experience in  K, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th! 

When I am not in the classroom, I can be found in my office at home or on campus at KState Olathe reading text books or writing papers!  I am a student again. 

I have two children, acutally young adults. Spencer is my son and lives in Prarie Village and works for Cerner.  Cassie, my daughter, lives in Kirksville, Missouri and is studying to be an Occupational Therapist. I am very proud of both of them and miss having them at home.  

My philosophy is that if  my students have further developed their ability to be both responsible students and citizens, enjoy coming to school, and acquire a passion for learning, then I have done my job well.  They will leave my room knowing all the academic foundation they need to move to the next grade level, but if they have not learned to love learning it will be for nothing!
