Mrs.Duethman

Hi! My name is Hannah Duethman and I am one of the first grade teachers at Overland Trail Elementary.  I am so excited to be starting my fifth year as a first grade teacher. I can not wait to meet my new kiddos for the year.  We are going to learn so many new and awesome things together!

My husband and I moved to Overland Park three years ago and we love living here.  We are originally from Wichita, Kansas. I went to Andover Central High school and graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Wichita State University, GO SHOCKERS! I just recently graduated with my Masters of Arts in Education from Baker University.  Before moving to Overland Park I taught first grade for a year in Haysville, Kansas. In my free time I love to cook, read, run, play with my dogs, and spend time with Mr. Duethman and my son, Gabe! 

My husband and I have the sweetest little boy named Gabe. He turned one June 23rd, so I spent my summer chasing him around our house! Mr. Duethman is a medical student at Kansas University School of Medicine, so he also has to go back to school like me.

These two adorable dogs are Rufus and Bella!  Rufus is a Weimaraner and Bella is a Boston Terrier. Rufus LOVES cupcakes, so I have to hide those when we leave the house. Bella has a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, so I usually have to wake her up!

 Mrs. Proctor and I both love dogs!  We decided to go play with the puppies at Petco one day!  This little guy is an English Bulldog.
