    About Mrs. Scarpone

Hello! My name is Mrs. Michelle Scarpone and I am one of the Interrelated Resource (IRR) teachers at Stanley! I am in my third year as a Stanley Wildcat and I am excited to be continuing my involvement in this wonderful school and community!

Previously, I taught in the Gardner-Edgerton School District as an Interrelated Resource teacher for two years.  Before moving to Kansas, I lived in Wisconsin where I taught in a 3rd and 4th grade multi-age classroom.  I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I double majored in Elementary and Exceptional Education.  I earned my Master’s degree from Emporia State University in the area of Reading Specialist.

In my time away from school I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors while golfing, running, and playing with my dogs, Maddie and Scout.  I also love to read, bake, and spend time with my husband, friends, and family.

I am looking forward to supporting my students’ growth academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the course of the school year.  If you have any questions at any time, do not hesitate to contact me!
