About Mrs. Tarwater

Hi!  I am a first grade teacher at Stilwell Elementary.  This is my 24th year teaching at Stilwell. In 1993  I received my teaching degree from Pittsburg State University located in Pittsburg, Kansas.  In 2000 I received a masters in special education from Pittsburg State.  I enjoy cheering the Gorillas during the football season.

I have been married for 20 years to Jim.  We have two beautiful children.  Isaiah is 15 years old and is a sophmore.  Cecilia is ten years old and is in the fifth grade.  I am luck to have Cecilia attend Stilwell Elementary and Isaiah attends Blue Valley Southwest. They have a great time together. As a family we enjoy taking car trips and riding bikes together.

My hobbies are reading, bike riding, knitting, and scrapbooking.  I also enjoy spending time with my family.
