May 7-11:

We will be finishing up our study of the moon this week.  We will also spend some time learning about the sun and other stars.  If time allows we will learn a bit about asteroids and meteoroids, too.

The notebook is a big part of your child's grade this quarter.  We have spent the majority of our time working in it. 

It is important for students to put forth quality effort during class.  A good deal of their grade comes from the quality of their science notebook. 

Feel free to ask your child to bring home the notebook for you to see.  Just make sure they bring it back the following day for class.
