Mr. Chace

My name is Cade Chace.  I'm a fifth grade teacher here at Sunrise Point Elementary School.  This is my seventh year teaching and I'm very excited to be working with such amazing people.  It will be a great year, and a great experience. 

I graduated from Iowa State University in December 2010 with an Elementary Education degree.  I have a specialization in Social Studies and a minor in Educational Technology.  In 2014, I completed my Master's degree in Elementary School Administration and a certification in English Language Learners (ESOL).  

I was lucky enough to be married to an amazing young lady in the summer of 2010.  My wife's name is Audrey and she's a material engineer in the Kansas City area.  We are originally from the Sioux City, Iowa area.  I'm actually from a small town twenty-two miles east of Sioux City, called Kingsley.  We have been in the Kansas City area for seven years now, and we have loved every minute of it.  Our home was blessed with a baby girl in 2016 and it's been amazing to watch her change, grow, and learn.

I am an avid sports fan and enjoy playing golf, basketball, baseball, and football.  As a true Iowa Stater, I follow the Cyclones closely; football season is the best season of the year.   Other things I enjoy are snowboarding, boating, cooking, building things or working with my hands, painting, and playing with technology.
