You may have heard me mention these during Back to School Night, but the end of first quarter is a great time to revisit! If your student needs additional help succeeding in French, please try one of these:
- This website has a Quizlet for every unit at every grade level. Students will find the “learn” feature most helpful for vocabulary and verb practice as they are required to type in the French when given the English.
- The Weekly Overview is posted for Sundays on StudentView. Each one will have the homework for the week, the resources necessary to complete the homework, as well as an overview of what we did in class for the day. If there is a document used in class, I have attached it to the Sunday Weekly Overview with the day it was completed – you can even find audio listenings to practice at home! This resource is useful for when your student is absent, as well as to go back over what we have done in class in preparation for a quiz or when learning a particularly difficult concept.
- Contact me! If your student has a question they just cannot find an answer for, please have them e-mail me or come see me before school at Leawood or after school at Prairie Star. While I try to check in with each student, there is much more opportunity for one on one practice outside of class than during.
