    Agenda:

    1. Mrs. Stanfield went over AFL #2 that was given to the students on Friday.
    2. Mr. White told students which questions from the AFL would be on the final.
    3. The students were given an updated portfolio cover and put their portfolio together.
    4. They were also given Unit 9: Evolution, Questions Based Learning Teargets that is due tomorrow, May 9!

    Final will consist of 40 multiple choice questions, no short answers.

    1. 10.3, 10.4, and vocabulary part 3 were stamped and collected today.
    2. Mrs. Stanfield went over Microevolution notes with the class.
    3. Mr. White handed out an AFL 2 and a copy of the notes.
    4. Due Monday, May 8, Natural Selection and Microevolution.

    Students were also given the study guide for the final

    2. Mrs. Stanfield went over the AFL from Tuesday.
    3. Class worked on an Evolution Activity

    1. Chapter 11 sections that were assigned for homework were stamped and picked up today.
    2. Mrs. Stanfield went over Natural Selection Notes and after that, students were given a AFL.

    Agenda:

    1. White went around the class stamping Vocabulary Part 2, Geologic Time Notes, Evidence of Evolution Notes, Biodiversity Over Time homework, and collected Molecular Sequences and Evolutionary Relationships.
    2. In class, students worked on 11.3, 11.5, 11.6, detailed notes and questions 1–4.

    Students were also given time in class to get any missing assignments done and turned in.

    1. Mr. White went over date changes with the class.
      • Vocabulary Part 1: due from April 26 to Thursday, April 27.
      • Vocab Part 2: due Monday, May 1.
      • Vocab Part 3: due from Monday, May 8 to Friday, May 5.
    2. Test: Tuesday, May 9.
      • Read chapters 10, 11, 12
      • 11.4, Hardy-Weinberg, will be taken out for regular biology.
    3. Students worked on a pretest

    1. The class was given a new portfolio cover for Evolution.
    2. Students were given 30 minutes to continue research for their projects.
    3. White explained to the class they need to present their projects, TODAY or TOMORROW. If no presentation is given, student will receive no higher than a 60%

    Reminders:

    1. Vocabulary Part 1 are due April 25 or 26. Vocabulary Part 2 are due May 1 and Vocabulary Part 3 are due May 8.
    2. Test will be on Tuesday, May 9.

    1. Yesterday, students were each given an article, pollution, hunting, deforestation, or population growth. Today, they were put in their groups too discuss, what would they do with $1 million?
    2. Succession Notes were provided and discussed.
    3. Ecology Portfolio was updated and organized.
