SUMMER MEALS - KIDS EAT FREE

  • Blue Valley Summer Meal Service Program

    Blue Valley’s Food and Nutrition Services department is proud to offer a Summer Food Service Program for free for anyone ages 1-18 regardless of where they live or attend school.

     

     

    SUMMER MEAL PICK-UP DATES/TIMES

    Starting June 7 through July 29, all kids aged 1-18 will be able to pick up meals free on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

    • Monday pickup will consist of three breakfasts and three lunches.

    • Thursday pickup will consist of four breakfasts and four lunches.

    • SUMMER MEAL PICK UP FOR THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY

      • Monday, June 28th meal pick up will include 5 days of breakfast and lunch meals. 
      • There will not be a meal pick up on Thursday, July 1st or Monday, July 5th.  Due to the July 4th Holiday.
      • Thursday, July 8th meal pick-up will resume, which will include four days of breakfast and lunch meals. 

       

    Meals will be packaged to maintain food quality. Refrigeration or freezing of some items will be required and some minimal cooking may be required. Cooking instructions will be provided as needed.


    MEAL PICK-UP LOCATIONS

    Summer meal pick-up with be available at two Blue Valley locations.

    • Blue Valley Northwest High School (13260 Switzer Road) - at the front of the school in the roundabout parent pickup area

    • Lakewood Middle School (6601 Edgewater Drive) - at the front of the school in the roundabout parent pickup area

     

     

    COST

    All breakfast and lunch meals are free to kids aged 1-18, regardless if they are Blue Valley students or not. No free and reduced meal application is necessary to receive these free meals.
