      • Prerequisite:   None
      • Fee:  $15
    • Honors Principles of Engineering (POE):  Covers the different types of engineering, the communication and documentation that are used by engineers.  Mechanisms, thermodynamics, fluid systems, electrical systems and control systems are also covered.  This is a foundational course in the Project Lead the Way series. College credit can be obtained by completing Introduction to Engineering Design & Honors Principles of Engineering.
      • Prerequisite:   Geometry or concurrent enrollment in geometry
      • Fee:  $15
  • Drafting

    • Drafting I/CAD:  Develops specific skills for drafting, design concepts and computer aided design.  Includes standards for both engineering and architectural drafting.
      • Prerequisite:  None, math competency in Algebra is recommended
      • Fee:  $15.

    • Drafting II/Architecture:  Expands the principles and techniques of architectural and engineering drafting.  Drafting I and II satisifies the Blue Valley School District's requirement for computer credit.
      • Prerequisite:   None
      • Fee:  $15.
  •   Wood Technologies

    • Wood Technologies I:  Project-oriented class which includes the study of materials and processes used in the industry.  Students learn to read working drawings and identify characteristics of materials.
      • Prerequisite:  None
      • Fee:  $20
    • Wood Technologies II:  Expands on the materials and processes used in Wood Technologies I.  Students may receive credit by written and performance exam for WT103 Experience in Wood Technology (3 credits, Pittsburg State University).
