• Performing Arts: Public Speaking

  • Beginning and Advanced Debate (Also available for 10, 11, 12)

Debate is not only a form of interscholastic competition but also an important part of the total academic program. As a student you will have an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in logical thinking and communication, which should be of benefit to you in both school and after graduation. In order to facilitate participation by students in various activities, we offer competitions at various times during the semester. Some tournaments are held on weekends and some are held during the week after school hours. The season lasts the entire semester, which allows students in fall activities to debate after their sports seasons end.
