LVE 3rd Grade / Daily Schedule

Our Schedule

Although it differs a bit from day to day, here is the schedule we follow in third grade.

8:30-9:00	Morning Work
	(Morning work in third grade focuses on skills review and writing. We will also watch the morning announcements during this time.)

9:00-10:00	Specials
	(The specials schedule is located here. Please remember to have tennis shoes for P.E. days!)

10:00-11:00	Math
	(We use the enVisionMATH Common Core series and supplement through Kim Sutton activities.)

11:00-11:30	Math & Reading Clubs (Wednesdays & Thursdays Only)
	(During club time, students will be flexibly-grouped and may be in any of the third grade classrooms. Students will work on specific skills for mastery.)

11:00-11:50	Writing (11:30-11:50 only on Wednesdays & Thursdays)
	(We will work on our writing skills through the format of Writer's Workshop.)

11:50-12:30	Reading
	(During this time, we will start our reading activities with the Wright Group Lead21 series.)

12:30-1:20	Lunch & Recess
	(Parents are welcome to eat with their children. Please check into the office first.)

1:20-2:45	Reading
	(During this time, we will finish our reading activities with the Wright Group Lead21 series.)

2:45-3:30	Science/Social Studies
	(We will alternate between social studies and science throughout the year. See the Themes page for more information about what subjects we will be studying and when.)
