Aspen Grove Elementary

As part of the 2020 Blue Valley bond initiative, Aspen Grove Elementary opened in August 2023 as the district’s 22nd elementary school. The new building provides students with safe, modern and flexible learning spaces designed to support growth, creativity and connection. This investment reflects Blue Valley’s commitment to innovative environments that meet the needs of today’s learners and future generations.

Building Highlights

• All new, single-story prototype for Blue Valley
• Separate drive loops for buses and family drop-off/pick-up
• Family loop circles perimeter of site so no pedestrian traffic crosses vehicular traffic and all cars can queue on the elementary site
• One synthetic turf playground and outdoor learning stair
• Design centers around the open concept heart space to foster group collaboration
• Flexible learning opportunities embedded in all classroom pods
• Additional power incorporated into classrooms to meet the demanding needs of modern technology
• Building design provides ample natural daylight to educational spaces, promoting positive learning environments
