All About Ms. Shane

Hello!

Welcome to Kindergarten!  I am very excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher.  This is my 14th year teaching.  I have taught First Grade and Kindergarten in Texas and Kansas.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University.  I also have a certification to teach students that speak English as their second language and a certification to teach Gifted and Talented students.  I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Teaching the youngest students is my passion!  I love to see the growth of each and every student during our year together.  I really enjoy the younger students enthusiasm for learning and trying new things.  I strive to help each child appreciate the uniqueness of himself/herself.  Most importantly, I want each child to love learning and school.
