Blue Valley Schools strives to create and maintain open, inclusive, two-way communication with families. To assist families and other members of our community in understanding the most effective and efficient means of communicating questions, concerns and comments, we have outlined steps for communication on the Addressing Questions and Concerns web page.

School supply lists are provided by your child's school. Please use the 'Our Schools' tab to find your child's school website to view this or contact the school. 

Students registering for athletics and activities must have a signed code of conduct and substance abuse form on file before they can participate. These forms can be completed through the Bound platform.

Additionally, all athletics and some activities require a concussion form and a current physical examination form to be submitted for review before the student is authorized to participate in practice or tryouts. The physical examination may not be taken earlier than April 1 preceding the school year for which it applies.

When extreme weather conditions exist, the district may call an inclement weather day with no school for all students. When possible, inclement weather announcements will be made the day before so families can plan. The superintendent makes the final decision by 6 a.m.

For incoming 6th and 9th grade students, the transition date will be August 12. This is a time for students to familiarize themselves with the new building and meet their teachers before the first day of school. For more information on this date, please reach out to your school.
