ABOUT THE STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS
-
As our journey to Reimagining Learning l Changing the World continues in Blue Valley Schools, it is crucial that we engage in a formal process during which our beliefs, mission, objectives and strategies can be reviewed, discussed and confirmed. Reimagine BV is a community process to ensure that our energies and resources are being invested in those things we value most - our students and their education, future and world.

PLANNING COMMITTEE
The Planning Committee included a broad representation of people in our community who care about quality education and preparing children for their futures. The 32-member team helped guide the public process and hosted public workshops for the purpose of identifying beliefs, mission, objectives and strategies. The Planning Committee was also responsible for reviewing the work of Action Teams and preparing final recommendations to the Board of Education.
ACTION TEAMS
The Action Teams had the responsibility of developing operational plans of action for each strategy. Their work is critical to the process because it makes the components of the strategic plan actionable. Members of the Action Team included patrons and staff. See the district's proposed Action Plans. Please note, these plans are subject to change as needed.
BOARD OF EDUCATION
The final plan was formally adopted by the Blue Valley Board of Education at the May 11, 2020 Board of Education meeting. Administration will be responsible for providing regular progress updates to the board throughout implementation of the strategic plan.
