Dear Families,
Another great weekend with the SUN! Minus my Jayhawks losing at home we had a fun weekend. We spent some time getting Michael's Valentine's Day box and valentine's ready. I have a whole new appreciation for parents and homework.

· Measurement: The test will be WEDNESDAY! Students should start taking practice tests tonight for homework. We continue to review each day.
· Testing Schedule: Please ensure that your child in here for the following times and dates. It becomes a schedule headache for them to have to make up these important tests.
Fifth Grade: Testing Time: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Reading - Wed., March 29 and Thurs., March 30;
Math - Wed., April 5 and Thursday, April 6
Science - Wed., April 12 and Thurs., April 13
· Writing: We have finished up our informational writing projects. I will be grading these this week. Next up is opinion writing! We will be researching and writing our very own TED Talk's.
· Conferences: If you have signed up for a conference could you please email me with your questions or concerns so I am prepared for your conference. Students are more than welcome to attend, but they will not lead this conference as they did in the Fall.

- Grade Updates I know a lot of you have been on Parent Vue checking grades. That is great way to keep up with what we have been working on. Please know that grades are updated each week by Tuesday at 10am. If you check on Monday they won't be updated and there might be missing assignments that aren't really missing. Same thing for a Friday. If you ever have questions about grades please let me know.
