Before and After School Care

Blue Valley School District Families and Employees,

We have exciting news for parents in the Blue Valley School District.   Thanks to the YMCA receiving CARES Act Funding from Johnson County Board of Commissioners, the YMCA is able to offer Y-Club Before and After School care to you for a significantly reduced rate this fall. 

For those parents who are not familiar with Y-Club, we operate inside each Blue Valley elementary school. We open at 7:00 AM daily for early drop-off and stay open until 6:00 PM.  Our program is fully-licensed, and we offer children a great opportunity to extend daily learning and have fun with their friends. 

Our offsite Y-Academy programs will continue to operate through October and November.  For parents and employees who continue to need this service, the YMCA is able to use CARES funding to support deeply discounted/free enrollment for your children.  Please email [email protected] if you would like to enroll your child in Y-Academy.

Parents who enroll Thursday, October 1^st-Sunday, October 4^th will be given priority access to discounted/free enrollment.  If you are interested in enrolling, please go to our website, https://kansascityymca.org/programs/before-and-after-school and click on the Blue Valley Y-Club link to start the process.  If you have questions, please email [email protected].
