Note from Mrs. Newell’s Guest Teacher
I thought I would send you all a quick update as many of you know, my husband and I are expecting our first baby here in the next few weeks. We are very excited and anxiously awaiting his or her arrival! My last day at Liberty View for the year will be next Friday, March 12th. When your students return from spring break my long-term counselor substitute, Ms. Jayden Garth, will be taking over and finishing out the remainder of the year. I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with her this week and she is just delightful! Thanks, Mrs. Newell
Note from Ms. Garth:
I would like to take this opportunity and introduce myself. My name is Jayden Garth. I am originally from Champaign, Illinois where I attended the University of Illinois. I received my Bachelors in Community Health with a focus in Rehabilitation. I graduated in 2019 and moved to Kansas right after graduation. Since then I have been working on getting my Masters in School Counseling through Kansas State and plan on graduating in May 2021. I was also a Paraprofessional at Overland Trail Elementary School last year. I LOVED it! I have done Internships at Lakewood Elementary and Blue Valley High School. I am very excited for all the opportunities coming my way this year. I'm looking forward to finishing the school year out here at Liberty View Elementary!
