HERE'S WHAT'S NEW IN READING: 

May 7-11

We continue to read the novel, Far North.  It is an adventure story by Will Hobbs.  Students will spend time outside of class reading assigned chapters.  We will do various class activities as well.

This week student pairs will continue presenting the information they learned about their Arctic animal. 

We will be finishing up the novel this week.  Students will receive a study guide on Wednesday, May 9.  The final exam is scheduled for Monday, May 14th.

Students should have brought home a new spelling list.  They have a homework sheet and a spelling test on Thursday, May 10th.  This will be the last week of spelling for the year.  Please make sure your child is prepared.
