Welcome to Lisa Clark's 5th grade classroom. This is a place where children can explore new concepts through hands on learning, express their creativity, share in a community of learners and achieve success.
This is my 10th year at Cedar Hills Elementary. I taught 4th grade for six years and this is my fourth year as a fifth grade teacher. After teaching first and second grade in the Olathe School District and in Arlington Heights, Illinois, I took thirteen years off to spend time at home with my three children. I have a son who is a senior at K-State, a daughter who is a junior at K-State, and my youngest daughter is a senior in high school. My husband, Todd, designs golf courses both locally and throughout the United States.
I grew up attending Shawnee Mission schools and I received my teaching degree from Kansas State University. When I'm not busy in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting Manhattan for football games, shopping and taking walks.
