Fourth grade created radial designs. We talked about symmetry and what it means to create a radial design. The students used a compass to cut out a circle and then folded this circle into fourths. They used pencil to creat one-fourth of their design and then used pencil and a handle from a pair of scissors to transfer the design to the other three- fourths of the circle. The students then outlined the entire design with sharpie and then colored using markers.  They are turning out so beautifully.
