April Rottinghaus

It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve all of you as the next assistant principal! My family and I are thrilled to be returning back home to Kansas after spending the last ten years in Texas. My husband, Tyler, and I are both Kansas State graduates, so it will be nice to see more purple around! We have two kids, Brynlee, who will be starting kindergarten, and Briggs (2). During my time in education, I have taught first and fourth grade, served as an instructional coach, and most recently, a school counselor and 504/testing coordinator. I look forward to connecting with all of you and supporting all students in their educational journey!
