This is my second year at Timber Creek. I was previously teaching at OTE, here in the Blue Valley district. I am excited to be here and I look forward to a great year here in kindergarten.. I am a graduate of KU and received my bachelors in early childhood education there. I received my elementary certification from Baker University. I have had the opportunity over the years to teach pre-k, kindergarten, 1st grade and 3rd grade. My passion is teaching those students in the lower grades. Reading and writing have always played an important role in my life, and I love to share that with my students. I moved 13 times growing up as my father was transfered often. I had the opportunity to live in many places across the U.S.. I have 4 sisters and they live in Michigan, Colorado or California. I have spent many a summer on the shores of Lake Michigan and appreciate the lake life. The joy of my life is my 19 year old son Davis who is a sophmore in college. He transfered from K-State to JCCC and will be pitching on the baseball team there for one year. His number one goal is to pitch professionally, and he will take any step necesary to reach his goal.He is a graduate of Blue Valley West and had a great education here in Blue Valley. I look forward to getting to know each child and their families.
