Week of August 15th...

Dear Families,

Welcome to 5th grade. We have had an amazing start. I am so impressed with this group. They are eager to learn, curious and respectful. Makes for a great classroom.  Each week I will send out a newsletter on Monday. You will need to subscribe to the newsletter. I have put directions below on how to do that!

  • Thursday:  Back to School Night is Thursday.  Please plan on attending one session to learn all about our classroom!  See Mr. Sanders newsletter for details.

  • Band:  Mrs. Lowman came to talk to the students today about band.  They are all bringing home information today.  I highly recommend students trying band, strings or choir this year.  It is a great time to stretch and learn something new.

  • Homework : Students will have a little bit of homework this week as we gradually start getting into our routine.  They are also responsible for filling out their agenda so that they know what they have.  You DO NOT need to check their agenda daily. I would prefer you don't.  They should work on being responsible for their work.

  • Specials Schedule:   (Today is a Day 1)

    • Day 2:  Computer
