Week of January 9th...

Dear Families,

Happy Monday!  I am looking forward to some warmer weather the first few days of this week.  I was freezing all weekend! Brr!  We booked our beach vacation and now I am counting down the days.

·        Blogging:  Just a reminder that the students will have a reading blog every Tuesday and Thursday night.  We are all reading the same book this time and the blog is found on Edmodo.

·        Math:   We started our dividing decimal unit today. Our pretests show we don't have much background on this topic so please make sure that if students are struggling with homework they let me know!

·        No school next Monday 1/16.

·        Whole class picture is on Wednesday.

  • Twitter:   If you have a Twitter account please follow us at @MrsDugganSPE.  I post almost daily the fun things we are up to in the classroom!

  • Grade Updates:   I know a lot of you have been on Parent Vue checking grades. That is great way to keep up with what we have been working on.  Please know that grades are updated each week by Tuesday at 10am.   If you check on Monday they won't be updated and there might be missing assignments that aren't really missing. Same thing for a Friday.  If you ever have questions about grades please let me know.
