• Welcome back to a new school year!  I am excited to begin my second year as a Stanley Wildcat and to being your child’s Resource Teacher for the 2016-2017 school year.

This year will be my second year as a full time teacher, and I couldn’t be more excited! I graduated from Kansas State University (Go Cats!) in December 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and with an area of concentration in Special Education. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in the High-Incidence Adaptive Program at the University of Kansas and will graduate this May!

I am originally from Overland Park, KS. In fact, I was a student in the Blue Valley School District from Kindergarten through my senior year in high school. I am proud to be back and to be a part of such a wonderful district and community. In my free time I enjoy running and will run my first marathon this October. I also love reading, and anything to do with K-State, Green Bay Packers, and the Chicago White Sox.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.  I am eager to help support each student to reach individual successes.  It is a great joy to watch students learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally as well as witnessing students demonstrate the feeling of accomplishment.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns throughout the course of the year.  Let’s have a fun and successful school year!
