Hi, my name is Kristen Petty.  I am a 2nd grade teacher at Timber Creek Elementary School.  I attended school in the Blue Valley School District from Kindergarten through my senior year of high school, where I graduated from Blue Valley West.  I graduated from Emporia State University in 2010 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.   I graduated from the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!) with my Master's in Special Education: Functional and an endorsement in Special Education: Adaptive. I love watching my students develop, grow, and learn in the classroom. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy going working out (at The Bar Method), planning my wedding (October 15th!), attending Kansas City and KU sports games, St. Louis Cardinals games, or spending time with family and friends.
