Charity Selber

My work in Blue Valley started in 2008.  I have been both a school psychologist and elementary principal in the district and am so happy to have now landed at Morse!  As I shared with the staff, the Morse reputation is one of a tight-knit school community with a hometown feel. One of the staff members called it “family-oriented.”  As a small town person myself, I hold those feelings of familiarity close to my heart. What a gift!  I look forward to becoming a part of the community and have already felt a warm embrace.

My own family includes my husband Will, who is recently retired from the military and now writing for a living; Alice, who is a lively and affectionate 3-year-old; and our dog Bucky, who is a sweet and floppy old Bloodhound.  Outside of school and family time, I enjoy cooking, reading, singing, and doing yoga.  One of these days I hope to add gardening to that list!

I look forward to getting to know each of your families as well!  I hope to meet you at some of our spring school events. As I am getting acquainted with Morse, I’m working to learn all I can about what makes it so special.  I need you to teach me the way of the Marksmen!
