Advanced Rep ShowDon’t miss the BVW Advanced Repertory Theatre class’s production of Our Town by Thornton Wilder, a timeless American classic that celebrates the beauty of everyday life. This heartwarming and thought-provoking play captures the universal experiences of love, loss, and community in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners. With poignant storytelling and remarkable performances by the Advanced Rep Theatre students, under the direction of senior Lance Carter, this production promises to be a night to remember. Join us on Friday, December 13 or Saturday, December 14, at 7:00 pm in the intimate setting of the BVW Little Theater. Tickets are just $10 and are available for purchase here. Seal of Biliteracy for SeniorsSeniors received information about the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy via email communication during the week of November 18. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please review the Seal of Biliteracy website for detailed information. Graduation DateGraduations will be held at the Blue Valley West High School Football Stadium, referred to as ANTDAC (Antioch District Athletic Complex) located at 162nd and Antioch. The schools affected by inclement weather will move inside to the BVW Gymnasium at their regularly scheduled time. BVW graduation will be at 7:00pm on May 18

Senior FeesParents of seniors are asked to contribute a $40 fee toward their senior activity fund and annual senior class gift that is donated to the school. Career Ready and Dual Degree Programs - Info NightsThe Career Ready Programs department is offering several exciting opportunities for Blue Valley students to earn college credit at little to NO cost to families through Johnson County Community College (JCCC).
The information shared at these sessions will be most relevant for current sophomore and junior students and parents/guardians. We invite you to attend one or more of our community-wide family informational sessions in January. We encourage parents/guardians/students to all attend.
