For any student that feels strongly about justice, fairness and keeping our school safe and welcoming to every student. This club does require a commitment from the participants.

Will meet Thursday mornings 7:00-7:30am, starting October 16th.

The HMS yearbook staff is open to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Students do not have to attend every meeting to participate in the club. There are many ways in which students can contribute to yearbook. Student photographers are needed at all three grade levels. Surveys, quotes, and short articles are also needed. During meetings, students learn different techniques for editing photos. Journalism ethics and privacy concerns are also covered. Students will be able to use the actual yearbook webpage to learn how the yearbook is put together. Most importantly, the yearbook staff is an integral part in documenting the events that occur in the course of a year.
