Mrs. Courtney Domoney

Welcome to Oxford Middle School and the 2020-21 school year!  I am thrilled to begin my second year as principal at OMS.

I have spent my entire career in Blue Valley beginning in 2005.  I served as a French teacher at Prairie Star Middle and Blue Valley West for nine years and have worked in administration roles at Leawood Middle, Pleasant Ridge Middle, Oxford Middle and Blue Valley Northwest.  My passion is working with students and seeing them grow during the three critical years of middle school, both socially and academically.  My goal is for every student to try new things and participate in a club, intramural or sport during their time at OMS.  We have many different ways for our students to be involved and be leaders at their school.  There is something for everyone!

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from The University of Kansas, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from KU, and my Master's in School Leadership from Baker University.  When I am not at school, I am spending time with my family: my husband, John, our daughters, Mollie and Annie, and our Goldendoodle, Daisie.  We are big Jayhawk fans and love to be out and about in Kansas City.

I firmly believe Oxford Middle School is second to none.  Every member of our staff truly loves working with our students and will go above and beyond to meet their needs both inside and outside of the classroom.  OMS is a safe, caring, positive and diverse school community.  It is our goal to partner with families to provide an exceptional middle school experience that prepares our students to be successful contributing citizens now and in the future.

Proud Principal,
Courtney Domoney

Mr. Ashford Collins

Knight Family,

Thanks for joining us at OMS for the 2020-2021 school year!  This will be my second year as assistant principal at Oxford. I am honored to be a part of this community.

I was an administrative intern at Blue Valley High School during the 2018-2019 school year.  Before that, I was an English teacher at Santa Fe Trail Middle School in the Olathe School District for six years.

I have enjoyed working with kids and people since high school. My first several jobs as a high school student took place at local recreation centers and Boys and Girls Clubs. My hope is to maximize servant leadership to the full extent for our scholars, staff, and community.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University.  When I am not at school, I am spending time with my family: my wife, Cary, our daughters, Avery and Demi, and our dog, Bria.  We are fans of the Georgia Bulldogs, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, LeBron James, and even have love for the hometown Chiefs.

I am excited to continue my journey at Oxford and look forward to continue working with many of you.
