Students meet twice a week from 7:05am - 7:35am; Tuesdays for rhythm section, Thursdays for woodwinds / brass, and Fridays for everyone. There is no cost to participate, just a willingness to have a great attitude and work hard! The Panther Jazz Band uses saxophones, trumpets, trombone, piano, guitar, bass guitar, drum set, and auxiliary percussion. *If your current band student does not play one of these instruments, other woodwinds, such as flute or clarinet, can learn a saxophone as a secondary instrument in most cases, and brass players such as baritone, horn, and tuba can learn trumpet or trombone in most cases. THEATER
Fall Show Synopsis: Alternating between music, monologues, and pure fantasy, The (Dis)Concert(ed) Choir journeys behind the angelic facade of a school choir concert, with everyone's inner thoughts on display: the conductor can't wait to retire; the accompanist can't (like ever) seem to hit the right notes; Eric is desperately in love with Marsha; the gassy output of Tyler's big pizza dinner is starting to make itself known; and the parents are getting a little too camera-happy...
