Best Buddies
Best Buddies build one to one relationships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social interactions while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded.

Eagle Pride is a safe space for LGBTQ individuals and allies. All are welcome to play games, listen to guest speakers, and make crafts together.

Acapella Club
No audition, available to all grades for students who enjoy singing and want more experience singing without instruments or backup tracks. Students do not need to be enrolled in Vocal Music to be in the Acapella Club.

LMS JSU
This club will explore and share fellowship with peers of all faiths; gain a better understanding of Judaism; make stronger connections with peers, staff and the community.

The club will meet on Monday or Thursday.

This program is designed for LMS students, for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown outstanding ability in art. The NJAHS also strives to aid members to work towards the attainment of high standards in the arts.

CHESS CLUB
Play chess to develop memory and logical thinking while using math and science skills. Strategize and enjoys some friendly competition.

For students to grow and share their faith, provide fellowship as a group of believers and do our part to create a safe, caring environment at school.

DIVERSITY
Students will have the opportunity to participate in activities that will build awareness on the topics of diversity and inclusivity. Students will plan opportunities for our school community to grow as to how we build a strong community.

This group meets once a month during grade level lunches in room 64. -
JR. THESPIANS
This club is closely linked to the theater department. Students will work on improvisation skills as well and monologues, songs and dances.

MATH COUNTS
For students who love solving math problems that require deep thinking. Students will also be able to participate in several math competitions.

NEWSPAPER AND YEARBOOK
Students learn to edit photos and write short stories.

The group focuses on friendship, self-esteem, empathy and kindness.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
Students engage in in-depth study of science concepts, ranging from physical science, chemistry, biology and physics.

SPANISH CLUB
Students will explore several fun aspects of Spanish speaking countries including holidays, dances, traditions, and more!

SPIRIT SQUAD
This club will promote school and community spirit by celebrating the academic and sports achievements at LMS. This includes locker decoration, pep assemblies, spirit week and other activities throughout the year.

STUDENT COUNCIL (STUCO)
For students who are interested in student government. Sponsored activities include United Way campaign, Harvesters. Leawoods Got Talent and other drives.

WE THE PEOPLE
Students research and prepare oral presentations applying Constitutional Principles to modern-day issues. The culminating activity is when students present their arguments to lawyers and judges in May.
