Jadyn Wooten Wins Gatorade Award

BVH congratulates Tiger Girls Basketball Player, Jadyn Wooten, for being named the 23-24 Kansas Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year. 

The 5-foot-7 senior point guard averaged 19.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.5 steals this past season, leading the Tigers (15-7) to the Class 6A Sub-State Championship game. A two-time Eastern Kansas League MVP, Wooten was the Class 6A state player of the year as a sophomore as well as the state tournament MVP. She concluded her prep basketball career with a school-record 1,680 points.
