Monday is the first day of spring sports, so it would only make sense that there is snow in the forecast! If school is cancelled on Monday, there will be NO SPRING SPORT practices or tryouts. The times and schedules below will be used on Monday and/or Tuesday. If you plan to participate in a spring sport, make sure you have completed all the required forms and turned these in to the athletic office at West.
All girls planning to try out for soccer are to be dressed and ready to go at 3:30 on Monday at Pleasant Ridge MS (gymnasium).
Monday and Tuesday- 6pm for the outfielders-pitcher-catchers --- 6:30pm for the infielders - practice for all will begin between 7:15 and 7:30pm - when they are done they will be dismissed by their position coaches -All will be done by 9:30pm

*Cuts will be made after Friday's tryouts.
***If there is no school due to a snow day then there will be NO tennis that day! Changes will be posted on the Boys' Tennis website. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have a question or cannot attend on any of these dates/times.
Head Tennis Coach
There will be a meeting on Monday at 3:00 in Coach Bandy's room (#370) for all golfers.
All students planning to participate in track are to be dressed for practice and in the Commons at 3:00 on Monday.
All girls planning to tryout for softball should be dressed and ready to go in the aux gym at 5:30 on Monday.

Practice on Monday and Tuesday is 3:15-5:30.

State Wrestling Tournament
Congratulations to our JAG Wrestlers who are competing at the 6A State tournament in Wichita today and tomorrow. Austin Roy, Carson Schram, Sam Grandon, Logan Mueller, Luke Wassel, Ahmad Qarini and Chall Jenkins are our state qualifying wrestlers. Good Luck at State!
State Swim and Dive
Congratulations to JAGUAR Diver, Daniel Fecteau for winning the 6A State Dive Championship last weekend in Topeka. Daniel was the defending champion and is now a two-time state champion as a junior! The boys team finished 9th overall in the state meet.
Sub-State Basketball Tournaments
The boys and girls basketball teams will compete in their sub-state tournaments next Weds-Saturday. The brackets will be posted tomorrow and we will know more at that time about who and when we play. Good luck next week to both teams!
The girls bowling team finished the season on Thursday at the 6A girls regional tournament.
I would like to personally invite you to attend any of our basketball camps this spring and summer. We will strive at each session to not only improve your basketball skills, but also to make sure that you have a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will focus on fundamentals and skill development each session. I know that you will benefit from being a part of our camps. ATTENTION PARENTS!! If you have a son/daughter that will be participating in Track this Spring then plan to attend the Parent Meeting on Monday, March 3. The meeting will begin at 6:30 and will be held in the Fixed Forum. Come hear about the program, meet the coaches, and have any questions that you may have about the season answered by Coach Hanson.
An informational meeting for dance team tryouts will be March 5th and 6th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the BVW Fixed Forum. Attending one of the meetings with a parents is mandatory in order to try out.
